“ Monye’ provided exemplary service. She was patient and very knowledgeable of the menu and the food served. Monye’ was tentative to us and went over and above to make sure our food was to our liking. I highly recommend the bourbon cake for dessert. My wife and I shared it and it was delicious. ”
“ We went to Porch restaurant, which is attached to the Marriott, twice while in Louisville, first for dinner, then for breakfast. The food was consistently good, while the service was inconsistent. It's a large space with nice decor and good atmosphere, making for an enjoyable experience. Highlights included the cornbread, shrimp & grits & pancakes. ”
“ Stopped in for a quick dinner at drink at the bar. Brandie and Kalieb were attentive and welcoming, and the manhattan was excellent! As was the skillet cornbread—highly recommend ordering that for the table (even a table of one). The poke salad was good, though I expected it to be better. The lettuce quality was disappointing and it was more heavily dressed than necessary, wished I’d ordered it on the side. Overall a great place to visit and I’d go back! ”

“ While we were in Louisville for an event, we decided to try Porch Kitchen & Bar for a Sunday night dinner, and it was a fantastic choice. Everything — the food, service, and atmosphere — was top-notch. There were four of us in our group, and we ordered a variety of dishes including the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, white cheddar grits, double wagyu burger and fries, and the shrimp & grits. Every plate was absolutely delicious, beautifully seasoned, and perfectly prepared. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, the sides were comforting and creamy, and the wagyu burger was juicy and rich. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Our server, Nicole, took excellent care of us. She was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. We also enjoyed a couple of cocktails and glasses of wine, and each drink was well-made and complemented the meal perfectly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting — relaxed but still stylish — making it the perfect place to wind down after a busy weekend. We had a wonderful dining experience and will absolutely return the next time we’re in Louisville.
